Every time that someone reads from your gifted copy, you get a reward for that and that reward is further multiplied because of the blessed location. The Quran literally meaning “a recitation”. It is the central religious text of Islam which is the literal word of Allah and the final divine revelation. It is regarded widely as the finest piece of literature and a timeless guidance suitable to anyone at any time of any level of understanding.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” (Tirmidhi)

When we do any good deed, our ultimate hope is that we gain Allah’s ﷻ love and mercy because when we gain Allah’s love and mercy, we’re rewarded with an eternity in Jannah by His side which is an everlasting home that sees no pain, no torture, no hunger, no fear and no sadness. That’s the reward of donating a copy of Qur’an and Allah ﷻ reminds us many times throughout the Quran:

“Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Al-Baqarah 2:261-262)

The smallest act of sadaqah like donating copy of Quran even one that seems irrelevant to you but it is enough to save you from the Hellfire if Allah ﷻ so wishes. Sometimes, we talk ourselves out of doing small acts of kindness because we think they aren’t enough. However Allah ﷻ tells us repeatedly that they are and that we should race to do good even when we can’t see the value in it.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.” (Muslim)
